Contractor COVID Policy
To JSR Suppliers and Service Providers:
Because of the critical nature of our businesses, and to an even greater extent, to keep our worksites and employees as safe and healthy as possible, JSR Micro’s leadership has continuously followed the latest research, guidance, and best practices for combating COVID-19. Our efforts are working but the pandemic persists. So, we must do more – more to keep our employees safe, more to keep our families and communities safe and more to ensure the company’s ability to continue to service our critical industries.
Science is bearing out that the single most effective thing we can do is to increase vaccination rates. Therefore, in line with the recent COVID-19 federal executive order and the OSHA Emergency Temporary Standard, JSR Micro requires full vaccination or weekly testing for its employees who work on-site.
JSR Micro is also implementing similar COVID vaccination and testing requirements for on-site contractors and vendors effective January 1, 2022. This means that before being allowed to perform work at a JSR Micro facility, individuals will need to show either proof of vaccination or a negative COVID-19 test result taken prior to the visit. Unvaccinated visitors are not allowed on any JSR company site, unless they have a negative PCR test in last 24-48 hours or receive prior written approval from EHS, HR, and the relevant business director sponsoring the work or visit. Companies sending visitors to a JSR site shall provide JSR with a written attestation certifying your company’s compliance.
Please understand this is a JSR Micro requirement for personnel physically at our facilities. Individuals or companies that do not comply will not be permitted on-site and therefore cannot contract work to be performed at JSR Micro.
Let us know if there are any questions, and if you and your company cannot comply with this COVID safety requirement from JSR Micro.
If you have any questions, please contact any of the following:

Mark Slezak (President, JSR Micro) at 408-857-9818
-

We hope that these policies can ensure a safe workplace for employees and visitors. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.
Sincerely,
Mark Slezak

Contractor FAQs
-
Does JSR allow unvaccinated individuals to work at their sites?
Yes, if applicable test protocols for unvaccinated individuals are followed (e.g., weekly testing).
-
Does JSR require that contractors/visitors to a JSR site, provide certifications or attestations with respect to this policy?
Yes, JSR requires that any company with staff visiting a JSR site, to attest that they have a program in place which meets the minimum standards in JSR’s Mandatory Vaccination Policy for Contractors/Visitors. An email from a company representative stating that the company and its staff will comply with the JSR policy is sufficient.
-
As a supplier or service provider, with whom should I consult if I have specific questions regarding JSR’s vaccination and testing requirements?
Please email behealthy@jsrmicro.com with any questions regarding the requirements.
-
Will JSR provide guidance to companies on how to set up their vaccination and testing program?
No, companies should set up programs and policies appropriate for their company which meet JSR’s minimum requirements.
-
What is JSR requiring with respect to compliance with its Mandatory Vaccination or Testing Policy for Contractors/Visitors?
Contractors working at JSR sites are expected to develop and implement their own vaccination, testing and accommodation programs that comply with the basic minimum requirements. If they do not already have a written policy, they should consult with their own legal counsel and government resources to document and implement a vaccination policy. As stated above, JSR requires a written statement that the contractors working on site will comply with the JSR policy.
-
The Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) Emergency Temporary Standard (ETS) is currently on hold in the U.S. court system. How does this impact JSR’s Mandatory Vaccination or Testing Policy for Contractors/Visitors?
JSR’s Mandatory Vaccination or Testing Policy for Contractors/Visitors is an internal policy, independent of OSHA requirements. All Contractors/Visitors are expected to attest to compliance with JSR’s COVID policies, regardless of the OSHA ETS legal status.
