LIC vs. Other Power Sources
Our LIC has 4 times the energy density and operates at voltages, which are about 50% higher.  Thus compared to conventional ultracapacitors, one-third fewer cells are needed at an equivalent voltage; resulting in space and weight savings for the end user.

LIC vs. batteries:
Our LIC has less energy but higher power and reliability than batteries.  It can replace batteries in applications that require low energy and where the LIC can be recharged periodically.  It can also be used with batteries to reduce thermal stress and increase the life of a battery pack.
