QUALITY CONTROL ASSOCIATE

EDUCATION

• Minimum BS degree in science field or equivalent of 5 years job experience

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

• Minimum 3 year experience in Quality department
• Fluency in Japanese speaking, writing and reading is a must.
• Must be proficient on PC with MS Office Suite:  Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint with excellent typing and proofreading skills.
• SAP experience is a plus.
• Analytical skills related to chemical process data, preferably with semiconductors
• Statistical Process Control experience is a plus
• Detail – oriented with the ability to multitask

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Approval of finished product certificate of analysis
• Updating QC database with spec and Process Control Standards
• Scanning QC documents
• Data entry of domestic raw materials into QC database and SPC reviews
• Data entry of Japan finished product into QC database and SPC reviews
• Approve raw materials and Japan finished product in SAP
• Shelf life extension in SAP for raw materials and finished product.
• Monthly Production report – summarizing data from SAP
• Update label database
• Create PDF file for ISO form documents
• Maintain lab supply inventory/orders
• File quality report (QR) from Japan
• Administration work for QC
• Make suggestion to management for improving this position or improving work processes.
• Work safely by observing safety rules, policies and procedures.  Identify unsafe conditions or actions to my supervisor. 
• Other duties as may be assigned.

• Highly effective written and interpersonal communication skills for corresponding and interacting with diverse group of engineers and management.
• Excellent organizational skills are required to assess the needs of the manufacturing group
• Ability to perform independently, set priorities and organize information and documentation
