APPLICATIONS TECHNICIAN
EDUCATION:
- BS in any technical field recommended, but not required depending on industry experience. Engineering, chemistry, physics, or physical sciences degree a plus.
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
- Excellent lab equipment skills in chemical formulations required
- Working experiences in chemical handling environment preferred.
- Excellent computer skills in Excel required.
- Basic understanding of the major components of photoresist. Preferred.
- Experience using various metrology tooling used in photolithography (top-down and/or cross section SEM’s, film thickness measurements tools) a plus.
- Experience in semiconductor industry, lithography, or metrology related fields a plus.
- Detailed proficiency on leading photolithography equipment used in the industry including 193- and 248-nm scanners/steppers, coater developer tracks, and other photoresist technology a plus
- Strong processing skills, with core competencies in resist development, optics, and/or advanced metrology solutions a plus
- Basic knowledge of semiconductor manufacturing and process integration a plus
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provide photo resist or photo resist related chemical formulation for internal DOE and out side customers.
- Owner of bookkeeping of in house R and D resist and raw material inventories.
- Provide in house technician support, including the operation of advanced lithography and metrology equipment from time to time.
- Keep up with new development in photo resist development (resins, PAGs, Quenchers, etc.), as well as other area in photolithography.
- Other duties as may be assigned.
